About the 2026 HTAV VCE History Conference

The 2026 HTAV VCE History Conference offers an expanded program of workshops, lectures and seminars that inspire and support VCE History teachers. Participants explore examination insights, deepen content knowledge and gain practical classroom strategies.

With 22 workshops across four sessions and valuable networking opportunities, the conference strengthens teaching practice across Victoria.

New to Teaching History Levels 7–10 and the Victorian Curriculum V2.0

This event is aimed at pre-service teachers and teachers unfamiliar with Levels 7–10 History who are possibly teaching History at these levels for the first time.

Experienced teachers who feel they need more guidance with the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum V2.0, assessment ideas and resources may also find this event worthwhile.
