HTAV seeks to ensure that History teachers and educators have the skills, knowledge and values necessary to work in a creative, responsible and effective manner. It promotes life-long learning and respect for the discipline of History in the community.

Members may join or renew at any time, however we recommend doing so during the October-December renewal period for an easy transition into the new year. HTAV memberships expire 31 December 2023.

New members wishing to join HTAV, please select your membership category below and follow the prompts to complete your application. Those renewing their membership can also do so by logging into the HTAV website and visiting the Member Centre here.
