About the presenter:

Alexis Watson is an experienced teacher of History and English. She is a former KLA Leader and Director of Curriculum, and she is currently the Senior School Principal at Norwood Secondary College. Alexis served on the HTAV Board from 2011–2019 and has presented at HTAV Annual Conferences focusing on Literacy, writing in History and curriculum development. Alexis is also a recipient of the HTAV Colin Pearce Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Teaching and Learning of History and to the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria.
