|Lecture 1 – History Exam Skills Session: The Dos and Don’ts of the Year 12 VCE History Examinations
Luke Cashman, Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School
Every year students make basic, avoidable mistakes in the VCE History exams that cost them crucial marks. Students will be guided through the things they can do to demonstrate their knowledge and skills and maximise their chances of success. Everything from the importance of neat handwriting to the best way to structure longer written responses will be discussed. The crucial significance of reading time, and how to use these minutes wisely, will also be considered. This session will be relevant to all three VCE Histories: Revolutions, Ancient History and Australian History.
