Teaching VCE History in 2018 - 29 Nov 17

This event is aimed at pre-service teachers, teachers unfamiliar with VCE History and possibly teaching history for the first time, or experienced teachers who feel they need more guidance with the Study Design. Participants will be advised on how best to prepare to teach Revolutions (Units 3 & 4), Australian History (3 & 4), Ancient History (1–4), Twentieth Century History (1 & 2), and Global Empires (1 & 2) in 2018.

Gerry Martin, Curriculum Manager (History and Civics), Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA)
In this session Gerry will answer a series of Frequently Asked Questions about VCE History, including key knowledge, key skills, school-assessed coursework, exam preparation and requirements, available resources.
