HTAV 2017 Annual Conference - Capturing the Memories

A very big thank you to all who attended the 2017 HTAV Annual Conference: Critical and Creative History. We trust you enjoyed the workshops and gained some valuable curriculum insights, resources and ideas for your classrooms. A big thank you to our keynote speakers for presenting thought provoking and informative presentations on each day of the conference. On Thursday, we had keynote panel presenters: Associate Professor Gery Karantzas, Deakin University, Julie Podbury, President Australian Principals Federation and Agata Kula, Secondary Teacher Department of Education and Training. Our Friday keynote presenter was Andrew Rule, Associate Editor from the Herald Sun. The social media comments during the conference were engaging and the positive feedback we have been receiving is wonderful and appreciated.

The success of this conference would not be possible without the outstanding support from presenters, delegates, exhibitors, volunteers, the HTAV board, staff and conference sponsors. We trust everyone gained informative and valuable professional learning and networking opportunities while enjoying the very professional and new 2017 venue at Caulfield Racecourse.
