COVID-19 Updates

11 Aug 20

Important Information for the HTAV Community

As our community unites to keep each other safe through COVID-19, HTAV continues to act in accordance with the latest advice and recommendations relating to social distancing. HTAV staff will be working from home during any periods of lockdown in metropolitan Melbourne. At other times, the office will be staffed on most days.

For full details relating to our operations and any changes that could affect you, please see below:

HTAV Office and Staff

If you know who you are trying to contact, please do so directly by email. The email addresses for all staff are here.

If you'd like to speak to someone over the phone, please add a contact number to your email.

Professional Learning Events

The 2021 offering of professional learning is available here. For any queries you will be able to contact us at all times via email on events@htav.asn.au.

Publications and Dispatch

Keep supporting us and ordering from our online shop. We’ll get your purchases to you, though there might be a slight delay in dispatch. Australia Post also reports delivery delays during periods of lockdown. It will not be possible to pick up goods from the HTAV office. For any queries you will be able to contact us at all times via email on books@htav.asn.au.

On behalf of everyone here at HTAV, we wish you all the best and look forward to continuing to provide our resources to you.

Membership

Primary contacts should make sure all staff are linked to their school memberships so that everyone gets updates and information. Simply visit the My Profile tab in the Member Centre.

For any queries you will be able to contact us at all times via email on membership@htav.asn.au.

Free Teaching Resources

HTAV has curated a selection of online resources for each year level. HTAV members can access the free teaching resource lists and professional reading journal, Agora, in the Member Centre here. Clicking on the link will take you to the login page if you are not logged into the HTAV website.

Do you know of a resource we should share through our Member Bulletin and on our Resources webpages? Please contact Kaye De Petro, HTAV Education Officer, with your suggestion.

You can find more information about COVID-19 on the Department of Health and Human Services website: www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus.

We are wishing you and all those dear to you good health and safety.

We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the First Australians and Traditional Custodians of the lands where we live, learn and work. The HTAV Office is located on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. These lands were never ceded. We pay our respect to their ancestors and Elders, past and present.

Please note: Indigenous Australians are advised that the HTAV website may include images or names of people now deceased.
