Nominations are open for the HTAV Awards, and we’d love your help in celebrating the incredible work of History teachers across Victoria.
It’s simple:
- Find an HTAV member who’s happy to second your nomination.
- Head to the nominations website and tell us how your nominee meets the criteria.

- Special Contribution to the Teaching and Learning of History
- Excellence in History Education by a Teaching Team
- Excellence in History Education by a Secondary Teacher
- Excellence in History Education by a Primary Teacher
- Excellence in History Education by an Early Career Educator
- Excellence in History Education by a Graduate (Pre-Service) Teacher
Nominations close Monday 22 February 2027.
Award winners will be announced at the HTAV AGM in 2027 so don’t miss the chance to put a spotlight on the inspiring teachers in your community.
