Give yourself time to prepare. The new VCE History Study Design comes into effect next year (2021).
On behalf of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA), HTAV has been appointed to organise five implementation sessions for VCE History teachers during Term 2, 2020.
The purpose of the implementation sessions is to familiarise teachers with the VCE History Study Design 2021-2025. This includes an exploration of the revised and newly developed VCE Histories; Units 1 and 2 Empires, Units 1 and 2 Modern History, Units 1-4 Ancient History, Units 3 and 4 Australian History, Units 3 and 4 Revolutions.
The new VCE History Study Design 2021-2025 is now available to download.
To be ready for the new curriculum, we recommend that teachers attend one of the Implementation Sessions.
There is no charge to attend the session but teachers must register their attendance.
