A. VCE Exam Refresher: Ancient History
Andrew Butcher, St Kevin’s College
A critical period is approaching for teachers in preparing students for the VCE Ancient History examination. What effective preparation is required? This professional learning activity is designed to provide teachers with support in the lead-up to the final exam preparations.

Experienced presenter Andrew Butcher of St Kevin’s College will guide you through strategies to help prepare your students for the November exams, with a focus on ancient Greece and Rome. Topics to be covered include the exam paper and assessment criteria, effective revision, student organisation and historical thinking skills.


B. VCE Exam Refresher: Australian History
Jenny Pudney, Mount Erin College
A critical period is approaching for teachers in preparing students for the VCE Australian History examination. What effective preparation is required? This professional learning activity is designed to provide teachers with support in the lead-up to the final exam preparations.

Experienced presenter Jenny Pudney of Mount Erin College will guide you through strategies to help prepare your students for the November exams. Topics to be covered include the exam paper and assessment criteria, effective revision, student organisation and historical thinking skills.

Luke Cashman, Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School
A critical period is approaching for teachers in preparing students for the VCE Revolutions History examination. What effective preparation is required? This professional learning activity is designed to provide teachers with support in the lead up to the final exam preparations.

Experienced presenter Luke Cashman of Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School will guide you through strategies to help prepare your students for the November exams. Topics to be covered include the exam paper and assessment criteria, effective revision, student organisation and historical thinking skills.
