BLACK LINE MASTER TEACHER PACK

The aim of this resource is to make classroom preparation easier for VCE teachers. This resources is a black line master and is spiral bound for easy photocopying.

The VCE Revolutions Teacher Pack includes:

• A range of learning activities to help prepare students for SACs
• SACs  (essay, research report, historiography, image/document analysis) including approaches to answers and rubric/assessment guides
• Two complete sample exams with approaches to answers (see below)
• Evidence files for student revision.

Note to purchasers

The VCE Revolutions Teacher Pack was published in 2010. Since then, as previously advised by VCAA and HTAV, the format of the end-of-year examination for VCE Revolutions has changed slightly. The main change is that students now respond in a separate Answer Book. VCAA states that the content, marks awarded and general preparation advice remain the same.

Therefore, the two sample exams and general exam advice in the Revolutions Teacher Pack are still recommended for use in preparation for the end-of-year exam, provided students are made aware of the changed format. The 2011 VCAA sample exam, which incorporates the revised format, can be found at:

HTAV sample exams from 2011 onwards also have the new format.
