Conferences
The History Teachers' Association of Victoria's conference program is an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to promote their publications and services to teachers of History and Humanities subjects.
During 2011 more than 1200 teachers participated in our professional development program. In 2012, we aim to attract an even larger audience. The highlight of the program will be the three big conferences: the HTAV Annual Conference on 26 & 27 July, the Primary School Conference on 20 August and the Middle Years Conference on 26 October. Other events include a series of events for History teachers of all levels. It is expected that these events will be very well attended.
The Association regards exhibitors as a vital component of the professional development program we prepare for our members. It is with this in mind that we encourage cultural organisations, publishers and other organisations to become involved.
In 2012 the HTAV is holding three major conferences at which exhibitors are able to have displays. There are also several smaller events, and for these we can arrange for advertisers' promotional materials to be included in the wallets given out to participants.
